Can I still bow hunt?

Several people have told me that I can still bow hunt..is this true? My father said no becuase of our zone..GUN ONLY..any help will be appreciated! 4K ......

I think you could use your bow for the harvest but only use tags that are valid during the gun season

You can still bow hunt.  Just put your regular season tag on any buck you take and DMP on any doe.  Good luck and have fun

you can always use a lesser weapon during a season.  except for crossbows, unless given special privilege from disability.  like said you can still bow hunt during the regular season but you must only use DMPs or your Regular Season tag.

Thanks for all the responses guys! I couldnt wait until Dec 9th. I filled my doe tag and my freezer but still have my buck tag and have an oppotunity to take one this season.

I know there are no gun (bow only) zones. Are there "gun only" (no bow) zones? I can't find anything about that on the DEC site. If the zone is "gun only" there may be a problem using a bow at all.

There is no such thing like "gun only".... lesser implement is always allowed, just make sure you use the right tags..... that's all..

this is true also assuming you've got a bow privilege/license included in your licenses somehow.

I do have the bow license, and filled my doe tag on the 15th, so I would have to use my buck tag for regular season but I love bow hunting more than rifle! Thanks everyone for the clarity.
