Saw a few deer today

Saw a total of 21 while in 2 different stands ( 22 counting the one my son shot ) . Saw another dozen on Buffalo Rd between 5 & 20 and Rt 332 just outside the Canandaigua City Limits and also a crapload od deer on Rt 28 between Canandaigua and Macedon .

Never got a shot but it was a treat seeing so many !

yeah i would take a day like that! i havnt been seeing to much goin on in my neck of the woods...

Came home last night with my son and a does was standing next to the lane about 20 feet from our mailbox.  I stopped and rolled down the window.  She didn't budge, so I told her to go get comfy and settle in until Saturday morning, then to meet me at my stand.  At that, she bounded into the woods.  My son tought it was pretty funny.  I was serious!

Good luck with that ....I have told deer the same thing and every time I'm left sitting by myself, They never stay true to their word. I'm gonna try to get a hand shake on it next time.
