Times dwindling down...

What are your Christmas plans/traditions? This year it is just our immediate family...All others are out of State....We Gather on Christmas Eve and Eat drink ...relive funny stupid stuff from the year...tell jokes...Drink..   play Yahtzee and Shut the box and open gifts...This year we have decided to down size on the gift giving just one big gift each and well I have to do the stocking stuffer gifts...that's half the fun...

 

Every year I manage to make so much before dinner food ...we actually never make it to a dinner....So I suppose it's now tradition...lol

 

The veg ,cheese,cookies and pepperoni trays...shrimp...king crab grilled...Always a crock of french onion soup...cocktail lil sausages...venison meat balls in sauce...and a roast  with toss salad..Then home made ice cream....that is all getting cut down this year as well...

 

Lasagna...steaks...I have to have my French onion soup...lol...stuffed mushrooms ,veggies and dip, lil sausages ,,salad and the homemade ice cream

My family has been celebrating on Christmas Eve and much like you never seem to make it to the "dinner" food after grazing on hours d'oeuvres and having a few adult beverages. A lot of story telling, laughing and jokes followed by gifts and a Chinese auction of sorts. Christmas day we go celebrate with my gf's family with much of the same good food wine and card playing. The day after Christmas is a much needed day of rest or back to work for some.

I'm planning to come to YOUR place.  You are definitely going to need help with that grub.............I can spin a pretty good yarn or two, burp & fart then I'll do the dishes and run the sweeper.

I'm being "kidnapped" for my 60th birthday and taken somewhere warm.  That's what I know. I did the same to her when she turned 50 and I kidnapped her to Jamica.   I'm sure it's somewhere south 'cause I was advised to pack my snorkel gear. ;-)   So 12/24 VERY early, will be on big silver bird in sky...  from 12/24 - 01/04 this will probably be a fairly good representation of me:
