burmjohn
Batteries - Cars / Atv's / Whatever that you don't use a lot, do you charge them with one of those slow / maintenance chargers? I kick myself now, I have a project car I've been working on. I bought a brand new battery about 9 months ago, and never thought to hook up a slow charger to it. More then likely I've ruined a good $90 battery because of that mistake. I bought this tonight : http://batterytender.com/battery-tender-plus-12v-at-1-25a.html - So, I'll hook it up once it arrives, I got it off amazon for $40. Hopefully I can revive this battery, if not it will be used on the next one. Stupid me, I never though of getting one before hand. And now that I am thinking, I think I might get a solar one for my ATV, and rig it to my shed for year long maintenance and prevent the draining that kills batteries. Live and Learn I guess...
