Culvercreek hunt club
I bought a 1 horse no name grinder suggested by Culver (sold on amazon). It has been awesome, but have only done 2 deer. Cost was around $250 and well worth it. So quick grinding. It takes much longer to clean than grind. Works great on frozen meat too. Culver's has been issue for free for a year or two I believe. We have 3 seasons in with it (this is our 4th) and do at least 100# a year. 2 years ago we did over 160# We don't do a little at a time. we chunk what we are going to grind and freeze it. On the sausage weekend we partial thaw and shove it thorough. you can't feed that thing fast enough to keep up with it. Five Seasons
some good reviews on amazon. Thoughts? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012KJBR0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
FX62
Thats a good price, but I'd want to know what the hp is. I have a 1/2hp LEM and it works great for 3-5 deer a yr and i double grind and mix with pork. Problem is that its noisy. I think my neighbors wood chipper is quieter. One thing to consider is parts/accessories and warranty. Well, i guess thats a couple things. Lem, cabelas, etc will have parts/accessories easily available.
