Went down to camp this weekend and pulled my cards to see what was roaming around.  I have been hunting this property for 30+ years and have never seen a bear.  Nobody in our hunting group has ever seen a bear.  I have 8 cameras up on the property and have never gotten a picture of a bear....EVER.

 

.....until this year!

 

I guess they are moving in.

It's amazing how fast you will start seeing more and more. That is if the land around you can carry the population.

yeah, its weird because geographially speaking, we are literally only a few miles from TONS of black bears.  I don't know why they don't come just a little further north and populate.  It was a matter of time, so I wasn't totally surprised, just cool to see them!

The bear numbers are on the rise. I hope you see him in stand. They are a very cool, quiet big game critter.
