MACHINIST
Narrowed it down to these 2.I had a 7600 carbine a while ago but sold it because I was dumb.I have always wanted a BLR and picked a few up the last time I was at the gun shop but only the straight stocks and they weren't for me.I would want a pistol grip in the BLR,and also either rifle would be in 270 or 30-06.What one would you pick and why?And what one is more accurate?I dont need a target tack driver but want a good 200 yard gun also. deerslayer1114
not sure which will be more accurate. I'm sure either of them will be a 200 yd gun without a problem. I think brownings are nice, but I am a Remington guy. I kind of like the pump better than the lever, and I like American made guns better than Japanese made guns. hunter
I traded a 7600 years ago and still regret it. I think the pump will give you faster follow up shots than the blr. Don't get me wrong I use a lever as my reg rifle since I no longer have the pump and it is great but would take the pump if I still had it. Now to add to the confusion the Brownings are great guns also and probably more valuable than the Remington. Good luck, I don't think there is a bad choice here. Terry
I have a 7600 pump carbine in synthetic and love it! I don't think you can do better for a deer rifle. Why? Fast handling, accurate, and reliable. Edited September 15, 2014 by Terry
