I am still amazed at how a simple photo of a product is immediately interpreted as a poacher’s tool. Well, I see an ad during turkey season of a guy in the spring woods, in full camo, sitting on the ground up against a tree. I think turkey hunter. Then I see a rifle with a suppressor. I can't help but think, how do those two things connect. Advertising is an art form designed to get people to buy a product. I do not think this ad does that. Maybe the new owners of Remington should break open the wallet and hire a professional advertising firm that understands hunting to do their ads for them. cas
Some states it's legal to hunt turkey with a rifle, as well as some states it's legal to hunt with a suppressor. If it were ANYTHING other than a gun, the government would be FORCING you to make it quieter. You can't sell a car or a lawnmower or any other damn thing without some sort of muffler on it. Except a gun, then they take a 180 on it. Edited May 21, 2023 by cas
