DirtTime
Yeah, I know this is a NY hunting forum. If I remember right there is a guide in here for VT though. I have a few questions on hunting deer and moose with a bow in VT. I just want to make sure I understand the regs and season. If anyone can help out great. DirtTime
http://huntingny.com/forums/forum/34-out-of-new-york-hunting/ Thank you. That thread is more about where people are going and what they killed. Let me get more direct here. As per a few threads I have posted, my g/f doesn't hunt. But, we spent a nice 4 days in VT in the Killington area in Sept.. I would have rather been there when the lifts were running, but it was a great weekend. We stayed in a very nice Inn that bordered some VT State Land, and the Appalachian Trail. She is more then willing to go back up to that area when I can fish and hunt. So last night when we were talking about it, I was pretty stoked. Tonight, just to make sure she was still serious, I asked again. She is still cool with the whole thing. I looked up the regs for fishing, hunting, today. But now seeing it's after office hours, I can't call. Which I will do regardless. I was just curious if anyone could offer advice, and to let me know If I have the regs correct. Moose are on a draw for both a bull and a cow. Deer are limit of 3, but only 2 may have antlers. So, I take this as I can take 3 does in VT.
