Fox and a skunk

So I got this pic from cam down near the shore at friends lot on Lake Ontario, and this fox is getting to close to getting sprayed by the skunk. Maybe his first encounter with a skunk and doesn't know what's about to most likely happen?

He had better not get too aggressive or he will quickly learn about skunks. Especially if he gets some of that in his eyes.
