Shoots100
Been focusing on taking out coyote, so Mus hunting took a backseat. Since it's been getting warmer I decided to take the Mus rig for a spin. It didn't disappoint. Not the best image, but it was very humid. SJC
Shoots100
Spied a mus wandering about over the weekend, but being Easter weekend I gave it a break. Weekend ended, break ended, mus ended. SJC
Shoots100
Worked overnight and decided to see what was lurking about the abode when i got home. I found a mus that's been eluding me for awhile lounging in a bush thinking it was safe at 2 Am. Well it turns out that maybe it knew my air rifle lost zero, but it didn't know that as a long range shooter/hunter I've been trained in the use of Kentucky windage. Shoots100
Celebrated two birthdays Sunday PM, so that meant eating two pieces of blue velvet cake and a big bowl of watermelon chunks so I was too sugared up to sleep. What else to do but go outside and hunt mus to work it off. SJC
Shoots100
With some affordable 1280 resolution thermal scopes becoming available I decided to liquidate some optics and purchase one if the price was right. Got a NocPix Ace S60R a few weeks ago and mounted it on the Barra .177 PCP rifle to get acquainted with it hunting mus around the abode. Holy freaking awesome Batman. Shoots100
Mus have been scarce, so I put some bird seed in strategic locations to draw them in. It didn't take long before a mus was in the crosshairs. SJC
Shoots100
With the leaves and fauna growing rapidly the mus have plenty of places to hide now, but this one chose the wrong spot to take a break. SJC
