January Hunting Near Cornell University

Going to try this for the 1st time this year.  Anyone know of any areas that are better than others on Campus or nearby?  I see there is some state land as well but wasnt sure where is a good place to go?

Did you apply to hunt Cornell Land? I have hunted this area for Many years now, Lots of land, very little hunting pressure, LOTS of posted land, and I would guess 90% of these deer live in the city limits or live where they know they are safe. I took 2 nice Does last Jan, however I sat for many days and only saw tree rats!

Unless you signed up with Cornell Hunting program, you have ButterMilk and Treman State Parks which would be bow only.

I also signed up fr Cornell and dmap. What zones are worth looking at?

F1 is one of the biggest plots of land, That's where I hunt, lots of hardwoods and pines.
