NYBuckHunter27
I will be doing a brassica plot in July on new soil, i was wondering if its better to spray first than plow or plow first than spray? or spray both before and after plowing? growalot
Well if you plow then spray ...any perennial weeds that will grow from root cuttings ...just multiplied, but also those buried weeds seeds will germinate so you can get many things at once...I tend to spray disc wait and then spray again if It's a fall plot....I sprayed for spring plots then couldn't get to them ...they died but then the next flush of weeds came in...all this ran I can't spray again and will have to DR to stop them from flowering..if it ever stops raining I will spray again then just disc until I fall plant...I feel bad for the farmer next door...well not really but...he planted his corn and it came up but so did the weeds...It is now a green sea of weeds and the corn is stunted..some areas you cant even see corn any more.
