What kind of Fishing?

Is ice fishing any fun? The whole cut a hole sit and wait thing would drive me nuts I think.

Sit and wait is for the birds, If you run and gun with a fish finder or a valexar and find structure and some fish you can clean up pretty well everytime you go out, depending on the body of water of course. I've ice fished some lakes that I wore myself out drilling holes and never got a touch all day long. Makes for good sleeping that night though.

Both. I ice fish with a Showdown so really not to much of sitting in one spot for me.  Run and gun on the ice. Soft water is mostly Salmon, lake trout on the big "O" and Walleye and Bass on little "O", lol ;D

I tried ice fishing once.By the time we cut a hole big enough for my buddies boat ,WE WERE TOO TIRED TO FISH!

Yeah I always catch my limit of ice right away too... getting it home before it melts is my problem
