Different dying methods

I dyed an old faded camo jacket last year. It was originally dark brown and black camo. It had faded to about the color of peanut butter. I used RIT? I think that was the name. Liquid dark brown dye. It worked great. I just followed the instructions.

Don't use the washing machine method. It doesn't work half as good.

The speed ups work but color doesn't last,, kerosene and speed black only seemed to last if I waxed the traps within a day or two.black walnut hulls and a barrel seem to be they way to make it last, although I did always want to try to brown my traps like an old muzzleloader barrel , the chemicals for that were cost prohivitive.
