Looking like warm one next weekend for the opening weekend of gun season. Calling for mid 60's down in Penn Yan where I hunt. Won't need to worry about bringing the warm clothes I guess but I'd rather be sitting in the woods bundled up in temps in the upper 30's to low 40's. Wonder how those temps will affect deer and hunters movements? Won't have to get up to move around to stay warm that's for sure.

DEC with another slow opening day blamed on weather.

Ha-ha ..... Isn't that the truth? It seems that every year there is a different excuse for disappointing harvests. I don't think they have used too warm weather in a bunch of years.....lol. I wonder if they have a book of excuses filed away on a shelf somewhere.
