LOL only two trees the steel hanging pole had branches to fit...Have to build a hanging pole next year..dang beech blight! No critters getting our deer...neighbor lost half a deer to something one year...Just hung it two low

Definitely a difference b/w the does and bucks this time of year. Those boys run hard for a month or two with little time to refuel. This is a doe from two days ago, she was ready for winter! Almost an inch on her back, a lot of corn around though!!!

The buck i shot last week didn't have much fat either. The rut can be very hard on bucks. Although the stomach of the buck i shot was filled with acorns. Absolutely nothing but whole and chewed up acorns. Looks like the deer are going to have plenty to eat for the winter when they finally stop.
