Renegade Hunter
Just read this figured I would pass it along. Some real dirt bags here. For some reason I don't think the punishment is enough. I would hate to not be able to hunt for 44 years though.. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/poachers-behind-%e2%80%98grotesque%e2%80%99-deer-kill-videos-given-lifetime-hunting-bans-in-44-states/ar-BBpo6VG?li=BBnbcA1&ocid=iehp
fasteddie
It says they are banned from hunting in 44 States . I didn't see any monetary fine . The authorities should have hit them in the wallet !
Elmo
It says they are banned from hunting in 44 States . I didn't see any monetary fine . The authorities should have hit them in the wallet ! From USA Today: Along with the lifetime ban, they also were ordered to pay $1,000 each in court costs, $5,000 in restitution, had their weapons — a rifle and a crossbow — confiscated, must perform 100 hours of community service for the TWRA and were placed on 18 months probation. Still, I would have hit them for a lot more $ than that plus jail time. Bans mean nothing to a poacher. They were willing to illegally take deer anyway...why would you need a license to continue to illegally take deer? These fines were probably pre-inflation prices. What can you get for $1000 these days?
