Tacti_Steve
Is this really what NY lawmakers think is the cause of decline in hunting? Do they really think this will spur growth in hunting? We wear orange for safety. You want to wear bright pink go for it. I don't care! As long as I can see you I don't care what you wear. Allowing minors to wear pink when they would normally have to wear orange is not going to get them to say hey I'll start hunting now. Granted there is some fashion involved in hunting. We sell it so we get it, we acknowledge it, and we promote it. But is that why anyone hunts? No. It might be why they choose the hunting gear they do but it is not why they hunt. Try again lawmakers. Granted no harm in passing the bill (but make it for everyone), so do it and move on to something really important. If this is the most pressing thing lawmakers can find to do then I say it's time we have layoffs in the assembly. http://www.lohud.com/story/news/politics/politics-... https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2015/s6... Grouse
I really doubt pink is as good as orange. I think one color used by all is better than two, or eventually even more.

DirtTime
I will post this link again. I think this will be #5. http://www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/big-buck-zone/2014/07/video-new-study-sheds-light-what-deer-see Deer do not see color the way we do, but they can pick out certain colors. They can also see UV pretty well. Don't wear blue ( thought many a deer have been killed by people wearing blue jeans ) or white ( white is a huge no no ), get some UV killer for clothing and blinds, and stop over thinking it. When did hunting become a fashion oriented sport? Jeez! Edited March 6, 2016 by ....rob
