do you ever get the feeling?

I sometimes get the feeling like someones telling me the earth is flat..all because this info has been passed down..one for instance was last night..i was told predators will be hard to come by in wind and snow...however..i saw it with my own 2 eyes..or you cant sneak up on a turkey...ive done it 2wice..my only turkeys to date..do you have a prove em wrong story?

Every general fact has a few exceptions... like "a big buck always travels into the wind".. that isn't 100% true either, but for the most part its a good rule to go by. If you keep sneaking up on turkeys as a way to hunt them.. I promise you they will win more often than you..

I guess im talking more towards the ways to hunt animals rather than general tips on the animal...except for one time ive gotten all my animals on the stalk..however everytime was "lucky"..it just seems as if theres only one way to hunt..for instance..how many people out there in hunting land hunt alone? I like hunting alone as much as the next guy but i also like to hunt with someone i can discuss a hunting trip with and carry it out with all of its twists..

Everyone likes different things... but there still are basic guidelines to help hunters be more successful.. I personally like thinking outside the box and doing things the hard way.. makes it much more fun for me. I don't want a big buck to just walk out in front of me as I get out of my truck on my way into the woods.. where is the fun in that???

Hell ya thats what im sayin...when someone says i cant do something..it makes me want to see why..i snuck up on a bird i watched come accross the field and start dusting himself...75 yds away..lucky...got the other bird walkin the long way home towards the last place i heard him and saw him under an apple tree..i had enough skill to come within 20 and drop my bag n crap..knock up the arrow ..draw and shoot ...also lucky...after lastnights fox fun it just makes me wonder what other "donts" can be done

easier to sneak up on a tom turkey in the fall than in the spring. And easier to sneak up on a jake than a big tom...
