pipeline question

I've always wondered this....Can you hunt on the pipeline in NYS? 

 

Thoughts? I would imagine it's not going to be legal but I wanted to check. Everytime I walk by one I think about it.

More than likely owned by the company that installed the pipe. I would say no trespassing on their land, similar to you not wanting someone to trespass onto your land for whatever reason.

It is probably either Utility owned or a Right Of Way (ROW) granted to the utility and privately owned. Either way it is private property. A trip to the tax map section of the county you are in should tell you who holds it.
