Larry302 is exactly right about the 'heeling' issue during the shot. It's a natural response with even small-bore target handguns, but definitely becomes more pronounced with the boomers. A solid rest will  help you determine if the gun is at fault, or if it's a form issue.

In my considerable experience with handguns, I've found that it's usually a matter of slightly adjusting the nut behind the trigger.
