Rattler
I'm really intrigued by this device. Looks like it would be great for a backpacker. http://www.thepocketshot.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html Edited July 17, 2016 by Rattler
stoneam2006
Interesting I didn't listen to sound did it say how many fps? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Rattler
About 130 FPS with a 30" arrow. Total cost for all parts needed about $70. It also shoots ball bearings like a slingshot, with the smaller pouch it comes with, and without using the whisker biscuit on it. Rattler
When I started deer hunting with a recurve about 45 years ago, it was only 35 lb pull and took deer out to 20 yards with no problems. I doubt I got more than 150 FPS out of those old cedar shaft arrows. And the broadheads I had then were fixed to the shaft and required sharpening. The company says draw weight on this thing is about 28 lbs. I'm sure this would kill deer at 20 yards using carbon arrows and good broadheads. I doubt it's legal to hunt with though. Marion
Yeah but the cost gets spread out with each animal taken. Spoken like a true salesman. You may have convinced me my need for one of these. You think they would allow me to take some pidgeons in NYC with one of these badboys or am I reserved to rocks?Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
Rattler
Don't think they will allow you to do it. But they need to see you do it first.
Marion
For the record so long as you have a small game permit pigeons are legal to hunt and eat. They are a non protected species. Steven Rinella did an episode where he hunted them in the city I believe. It was either him or Andrew Zimmerman Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
