growalot Posted August 17, 2016 Share Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) OK I had to go to 5 different stores to find my Mrs Wages pickling packets...and they had a new one...Spicy dill pickles...I like slices so I did a gallons worth of "hamburger dill slices"...OMG if the guys at your camp enjoy HOT foods these are the best dang pickles I've eaten...I usually go with the reg . dill then add hot pepper and garlic from the garden. These I added a few clovers of Germany red garlic...These are refrigerator pickles...but I will be canning dilly beans and any over sized zucchini cut into cubes. If you want a quick snack to make try this seasoning package...not salty and very very flavorful. I think it would make for a great pickled egg too! Took all the seeds and inside less firm portion out before slicing them. Hot peppers, onions and hot garlic.
