Time to toss some free seed around!

Recommended Posts

Well I won a treestand photo contest on Facebook for Deer Creek Seed the other day and I just received my prize in the mail today. They sent me 4 3lb bags of different seed blends and a couple coozies. Can't beat that for just sharing a random pic I took from the stand I set up a few weeks ago!

I'm pretty excited to get this stuff in the ground in the next couple of days as my summer plots got hammered by drought and over grazing so there's not much left except clover and chicory. So far the deer creek seed co clover that I planted in spring is doing much better than WI fusion clover. I have been impressed thus far with deer creeks seed offerings. Anyone else use their stuff?

This is the second year I have used their products. Used the brassica blend, beets and sweets, and some radish last year. Couldn't evaluate the seed- had terrible dry conditions. This  year I planted rapeseed, radish, beets, and turnips. They're off to good start-good germination.
