squirrel slayer
Here's one of the stands I got up today. Noticed a nice bunch of thicket down below that had some nice rubs and a heavy worn trail on the other side is a crossing point and the woods are a little more open than they appear in the pics. Thoughts on stand placement?
growalot
If the wind is in your favor going in and out looks good also sun in your face or not during the times you think you'll get activity ,if you have sign to confirm. Am I seeing blk cherrie leafs? They fall now...is there any other food source or water near by...Deer can get most of their water needs from feeding ...but a rutting buck and doe during the chase phase really need a good amount of water. Looking good from this view...Good luck
turkeyfeathers
Have a cam ? Throw one up. I've become recently hooked on inventorying bucks near our blind. Wind condusive ? I've found great trails in the past and then sat over them for days only to find out they were only used at night
squirrel slayer
Boy and I went out squirrel hunting this morning. Watched a doe walk that trail at 9:30 and there is daily activity. Wind isn't bad there. Stand is Ina decent spot Down a hill. As for water. There is a pond they frequent only about 500 yards away through the woods.
