growalot
Getting ready to go to Dr. ...I look out the front window and see deer walking down the road to my drive across the street....Good I have a stand over the goat paddock and plot/pumpkin patch.... 15 minutes later I walk out to put some papers in the car and there is a car backing down my drive to the road...3 time in a month...I swear I'm gong to put those tire puncturing strips down at night! Core
Someone turning around in your drive or trespassing? If the latter, put up a poster board telling them they are on camera and will be prosecuted.
growalot
No these aren't turn arounds...and the "drive" is actually grass...not dirt or paved...tracks show they actually drove up in.posted signs at end and end of our actual driveway as well. people around here get all ticked that I plant to block "their view" of deer on my place...I have actually been told that to my face... BowmanMike
Boy,some people, huh? They could plant the same stuff at their place and watch the deer come in,but of course it is easier to go to growies place and check out the population there. Hope they won't bother you during the season.
growalot
Last year it was 4 wheelers on the cams(lights)...before that another neighbor and I chasing a couple of guys through my woods in the dark...They ran a half mile once off us to the next road over where the vehicle was parked flash light bobbing up and down as they ran across the field...have to admit...made me laugh watching it......They alerted me when they saw flash lights bobbing around my woods. I saw the tire tracks where they pulled up in just far enough to see where the fencing to the pumpkin patch ends...I suppose I'll go out one of these mornings to find the pumpkins gone. Adkhunter1590
I had a neighbor pull into my driveway on Sunday afternoon and start hollering at me in front of my kids that I was riding my 4 wheeler with my kids on it through his farm fields. Now his field is about 600 yards in the opposite direction and across another the road that I hunt or even ride our atv. After I told him that's total BS he goes on to say he saw my red 4 wheeler. I said o ya? Well ya must be awfully color blind then because the only machine I own is this green one right here (my wife is literally sitting on it 5 ft away). This guy kept going on how I better stay off his land and said I'm a liar that I own a red 4 wheeler. I finally had enough of his ranting, especially in front of my two little kids and told him he either gets in his truck and leaves now or I'm walking inside to get my 12 gauge and we can talk this out another way. I don't like trespassers as much as the next guy and I never do it unless it's by pure accident on a unfamiliar piece of property. But this guy wouldn't listen and was getting totally nasty about it and I wasn't gonna let him keep going on with his cussing and accusations in front of my boys. Old man laughed at me and said I'll be watching you with my rifle ready as he walked back to his truck. I said no problem pal...your front window from where you'll be watching is 889 yards from this very spot...and I'm a damn good shot. The look on his face was priceless lolSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
