H&R excell auto

Well field and stream has this semi auto 12 gauge with 4 chokes for $299. I don't really "need" another shotgun but I have the pardner pump and for the price it is a great gun. I was looking at this for upland/geese/brush gun. Think it is worth it?

I have the Excell I bought mine new a few years ago for just about $400 new

They do not make the Excell anymore due to Remington shutting down H&R  but I have not had a problem at all with mine & would guess I have at least 500 rounds through mine

Yeah I have the pardner and it is an 870 copy and this is similar to the 1187 so I figured for a fraction of the price why not?

Are the barrels interchangeable with the actual Remingtons?
