Also works well for us OLD farts...They are great small game guns...

My nephew had an early one one in 22-410 that he had inherited from his Dad...I used  it for a couple of seasons a few years back, and it was fine ,solid firearm..Had the selector button on the side of the reciever..

He sold it at a yard sale last summer for $150 and thought he had done a hell of a stroke of business... :) ... :D ... :( ....

Savage is selling over under guns again.  Savage’s "Stevens 512 Gold Wing” over-under shotguns come in all the prerequisite gauges—12, 20, 28 and .410—and are built on frames that are gauge specific, so the 20-gauge model hopefully won’t feel like and over weight 12-gauge.

They may start making the S series again, but I think it was stopped originally due to the high cost of production.

45/70 over 10g would be good....hang on tight. Yeah I see these combo guns now and again on the net, rarely in the gunshops though,in my area.As a matter of fact,a relative has some guns that they want me to get some prices on...I think she may be selling them shortly. I remember atleast 1 of the combo guns in the collection many years ago. Will have to see when I get over there.
