growalot
So searching around for pricing and things to think about I come across this... Quote Lambsquarters $14.50 per lb Lambsquarters is a native annual of the Goosefoot Family. It grows well in damp to dry areas. It can be flooded to attract waterfowl or left dry for upland birds. It produces thousands of edible seeds per plant. Plant 8-12 lbs./acre.Click here for planting instructions This is the bane of my existence ....the biggest weed problem I have...produces a billion seeds and they survive forever..then top that with they don't show up until well into the growing season and they sell it for that much a #...! LOL I'm doing something wrong
Culvercreek hunt club
It has good nutritional value and deer will eat it. Why would you beat yourself up to get rid of it? growalot
Because it spreads like wild fire, crowds out and reduces bio mass of better foods. Is just the worst in an actual garden. Animals spread it everywhere and if you suffer from any allergies...and live where it grows unchecked...You'd know why It is unwanted. Now to that list I could add it's toxicity problems but the above should be enough.
Merlot
Just read up on this stuff. Would not want that stuff growing on my property. Why would garbage like this be on the market? Maybe edible to some botanist?
