Did you know there have been tracking cookies for years now? The ads you see here can get your history and such. It's just data mining. What are you hiding? Don't worry, you won't get flyers for leather muzzles and whips in the mail. Lol.

Then your in luck that there are elected officials who vote for and support your beliefs!

I guess.  But now you have to pay to keep your info secure?   Seems kinda ridiculous if you ask me.

Id like to know what these elected officials stance is on the 2nd amendment and registering your firearms.   Are they the "keep the government out of my guns" and "nobody needs to know what i have since im not a criminal "crowd?   If so then I find it hypocritical that they would allow your personal privacy to be shared yet arent ok with sharing what firearms you have.  Its the principle which i think matters.

Oh I don't disagree with you, I don't particularly care for this new law either but there are work arounds against it

I was not aware of vpn. Something new I learned.  Probably going to invest in it.

Just do a google search and you can get a ton of info. Essentially it will route all your traffic through some european country like Lithuania or some similar place depending on the service you choose and it makes it look like that the person accessing is based there not wherever in the world you are. Its great for protecting your info from hackers

They been doing it for years. You can use a VPN, or set up Proxy servers, but you will never be 100% safe. If someone wants your info, they will get it. Just look at Wiki Leaks. If they can crack into govt files, you think a VPN or Proxy will save you?

I do not agree with a law that allows the sale of your info, but everything has a price. You buy a house you have to pay for maintenance, you buy a car you have to pay for maintenance, and technology comes with price as well.

How many on here have "auto pay" for things like insurance, car payments, or credit cards? Buy things on-line? Your security settings do not pertain to companies you do business with. If they decide to sell your information under this new proposal, there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

We wanted technology, we wanted an easy paperless-no trips to the bank society, well, we have it. Welcome to the future.
