bkln
Many of us downstate live close to NJ border. Is anyone here that owns NJ out-of-state CCW? I know Jersey is a lost cause due to "justifiable need" but was just wondering if anyone here ever accomplished that lofty goal or have any experience dealing with NJ State police and local LEO in order to get the CCW. I'm about to sign a new work contract and it is in NJ, I would have check myself twice before I hit the road every time, frustrating. Anyone's experience with NJ handgun laws is appreciated. The way I understood the law when I researched it was that only hollow points were illegal.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My class I took this weekend for utah permit said no hollow in NJ they didn't mention SWCs though so they may be allowable but let me do a quick search and I will edit and post the linkhttp://www.njsp.org/firearms/transport-hollowpoint.shtml Honestly, your best bet would be to call the NJ state police pistol permit division and ask for clarification as to what exactly you ARE allowed to posess. They seem to leave it fairly vague online unless it is literally only a restriction on expanding bulletsSent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
