Nice morning for stand hanging

Got out this morning at it was about 45 degrees. We hit a low last night of 38 degrees. Perfect morning. Even got a nice view on the way to the property. This def made it feel close this morning and now the extreme itch is there. Can't wait! A lot of doe activity in this area all summer and very few bucks. But they will be there if the does are there. It's a great bedding property and very very thick.

It's a little open in the area and there are some small trees so that's the best spot I could find to get set up in.

I was out all day checking stands and trimming around them. Got 8 done today. Sore as hell, but I'm glad I got them done! I have 2-3 more to do, probably tomorrow. Need to move some cams around while I'm out there too...

On my morning walk I . Checked 4 more stands and did some trimming...great morning until I got home. Went to check the mega crop of kiwi...and WHAM!!!! $&$@: #//?!! Nailed again by hornets...went back later to get the mail I dropped in my painful retreat.... huge paper nest right up under the vines...no Kiwi for me this year..arm got Soft ball sized cherry red welts on them..f...ers

Yes it was did my shooting lanes, now its time to hurry up and wait for the 1st.

I got the stand all set and sat there for a good 10 minute and wow did it feel good. Just peaceful and no pressure. I'm going to try and make this season nice and peaceful.
