Dog shot in Webster? Need Support!

Yeah supposedly not a bash at hunters but it didn't take very long to blame hunters and how messed up they are and how unethical. It's a crock of crap and hunters will always be on the receiving end of the stick in these cases. The women should be charged, and if it was my name they were trying to tarnish you better believe I would be hiring a lawyer and suing their prissy butts.

From what I heard from folks in the know , something happened between the dog and a hunter. Now since the dog was off leash and the owner may not have witnessed it, that may have lead to speculation . 

Someone mentioned a guy field dressing a deer, so it's possible the dog ran up was a bother  and the guy swatted it with an arrow . I also know they feel the hunter involved was not part of the program .

Something happend and look for changes in the program next year because of it . Any one want to put some $$$ on that ?

Hunters will always be labeled guilty from the get go. That's why we need to push ourselves and our peers to be better. Don't leave your gut piles in a park, hunt within the rules, report the poachers, don't strap your buck to the roof of your car. These are all things that suck and shouldn't be an issue, but we live in different times. I'm not saying we should hide or shouldn't be proud of what we do. But we need the non-hunter on our side. we need their support.

Nah definitely going to display any animal I hunt out in the open on tje road. I busted my hump to get said animal and I will proudly display it for all the world to see

maybe i worded that wrong. I've seen bucks strapped to the top of a civic with blood dripping down the sides. not a great look.

I've strapped them to the top of my Pontiac Vibe, no blood tho. You have to do what you have to do. DEC straps them to a cargo rack on the back of their SUV.

Maybe you mean try and transport them a little neater.

Myself I feel we should transport in the open and hang them from trees in our front yards . No reason to,hide our deer like its child porn or something !

Ive had kids get off the bus and come over to look and ask questions about the deer . We hunters come and go in the dark and many of our neighbors may never even know we're hunters ! Be a good ambassador to,our sport for sure but show others that that good guy up,the street is a hunter !
