been trapping since 1976. never trapped as a kid but sure enjoy it now. its just a hobby for me. always make enough money to pay for supplies and fuel though. good luck to all this season.

Hello every one I stumbled by your awsome site and had to joins, Im gonna start Trapping as soon as i can find a course,The DEC website is not showing any. But i have heard they dont do very many courses so mabe ill stumble over one of them as well

Recheck the dec site. Trapping courses are listed after the hunter Ed and bow hunting classes.

Welcome to the site. Here's a list of trapper ed coarses below . Look toward bottom of page.. Going for my coarse end of month. Have some problem critters to thin when hides prime.
