Frosty Morn On the St Regis River

It's -2F right now. I'm not sure what it was at daybreak, but I'm sure it was colder than that. I took these pictures from my deck off the kitchen a bout an hour ago.

In just got a "Weather Underground" update from a neighbor 200 yds upstream. It was -16.6F at 7:20 AM.

Beautiful veiw from the deck, although a cold one for sure! Bet ya got some outstanding fishing in the warmer months up there. Got some relatives in Malone. Thats where my mom grew up. How far are ya from there?

Malone is about 25 miles from me.

So nice up there! Was up there in May. But unfortunately for a funeral. Next time I'm up that way, I'll give ya a shout!
