Lost/Stolen Backtag

Here's the problem ..... I used to hang my camo overalls on my side porch during hunting season with my backtag on it .  After the season I took it downstairs after a wash and hung it there till next season but did not notice if the backtag was on there  .  For some reason I wanted to check something on my license which I thought was in my backtag . Well no backtag to be found . It didnt go through the wash .  I have a trail cam setup on my front porch for cheap surveillance and have a couple pictures of an unknown individual driving into my driveway when no one is home and apparently coming to the front door and knocking/ringing . I do not have a trail cam on the side porch . The question is : if my license was stolen by this individual is " ID " theft a possibility ? Can anyone using my license get a new one this coming season ? Should I report the " incident " before then ? I have not shared these pictures with anyone as of yet !
