DirtTime
We are going over to spend part of the day over there tomorrow. We have some leftover smoked pork loin, roast beef, and sub rolls, so we figured WTH, lets go enjoy some nature and fishing. I will be drowning some worms and casting a few lures. Fishing from shore so thinking it will be mainly perch, pumpkinseed, and crappie, with maybe a bullhead or rock bass. I haven't been to this place in a long-long time, so any tips on fishing from shore would be greatly appreciated.
grampy
Sorry rob, didn't see this till just now. Next time you go to Thompsons, or anywhere, pick up a couple bags of Senkos. Just tie on a #2 or 3 wide gap hook, and hook the worm once, through the middle. Wacky style. Just throw it out, let it do it's thing till it hits bottom, then pull it up a few inches and let it fall again, and rest on the retrieve. Green pumpkin is a good color to start with just about anywhere.
