corydd7
So I went early on seeding beets and greens from wti as an experiment. The deer are busy with the beans but the growth I've had compared to last year is night and day. I have stuffed all the tonage my small plots can handle and I'm excited to see the difference from last hunting season. I have a small 1/4 acre kale and rape plot that was planted August 1st, I would say it is already 80% demolished. A ton (no pun intended) of lessons learned from last season and I hope to make more adjustments next year. I added 120 pounds of rye and 60 pounds of triticale to spots that need refreshing. Bucks aren't on cam at least yet but there was so much poop in the soy bean plot I could smell it. I couldn't pass on the first Sunday of football so i had to suck it up and take a three hour drive to sit in the rain all day today.
