Round up question

Recommended Posts

It is best when dry because the plants draw it in better. It also is most effective if it dries before the next rain. all thing equal I would be more concerned about the next rain event over it being wet. I would beef up the concentratin if spraying wet plants though. some of your spraying water is already on the plant ;)

I would wait until the grass is dry and no rain in the forecast for at least a day. The lable reads to spray on dry weeds and then it will become rainfast after 2 hours.

But another section of the label says an additional application may be needed if it rains shortly after 2 hours.

The chemical needs time to be absorbed through the leaves and then migrate to the roots to be effective.

Considering the cost of Roundup, wait until you know it will be effective.
