How do you guys do it

Just curious about how you guys kill a fish after catching it. I know some people let the fish suffocate in the air. And some people like to dispatch the fish in any number of ways. What do you guys do/prefer?

either let it suffocated or cut the head off when I get it to the kitchen to wrap it. (if it's still alive)

Konk it in the head with the handle of a filet knife.  That'll work.

I either let it suffocate or it dies when I cut it up. I dont keep most of the fish I catch though, I only eat a few species and only of certain size.
