Grazed the belly.. grrrrrrr

Shot low on a very nice 6 or good 8.  A few white hairs, zero blood and the thing bound away like nothing. Literally gave him a close shave.  A far shot, I needed to use one more crosshair lower.

Do you use a range finder? First day ever bowhunting I created my avatar pic of the arrow in the tree. Went out that night and bought one. since, I’ve never misjudged range/shot too high or low since I got one (too far back is another issue unfortunately).

Y I have a range finder but the wife had it. This was a tough shot, I almost didn’t take. I usually err on the side of caution but this time  did not. I was lined up very nice, just  further  than I usually take. As such.. misjudged.  It was a nice body deer. Ughhh.

Clean miss means another chance perhaps
