Bionic
We each year go out back on our property, and cut a Christmas tree for our home. It is basically a Charlie Brown tree, we love it, and thought it woud be cool to share. it is a double trunk tree, pretty neat. 11 1
Buckmaster7600
I do the same thing, my girlfriend hates it but to me it’s what Christmas is about. Don’t need no 100$ “perfect” looking tree, just walk out back and cut the best one down, wrap some colored lights around it and hang some ornaments and stack gifts under it.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
G-Man
Wow we always did the same but ours was never that Charlie brown.. do you look for that specifically or are all your trees that sad?

We were hit really hard last winter with heavy snow, trashed the area badly, so yeah it screwed up the young pines. We have absolutely crap soil in this area too, so between the two, it doesnt produce the most perfect post card pines.....we love it though, makes it fun. G-Man
We use to take the old skidoo a d the ski-bouse and head back and cut a scotch pine as I got older we would just cut the top of the tree as the damn things kept growing...lol. so many time what looke like a decent tree from 20 ft below was a huge monstrosity when cut down super wide and crooked.. but always a good time to go cut bring back and decorate.. never a fan of the commercial trimmed and pruned tree..just seems fake / to commercial for me. But as I said your wins the prize for most Charlie brown I've seen!

I just simply enjoy this primitive type tree, means a whole lot more from your own land in our opinion. My girlfriend, and I have only been together a few years, so its a special time for us.
