Beside the fact many of these laws are unconstitutional  they have no effect on crime  I saw some place  something like 98% of guns used in violent  crimes are bought on the black market .

There going after the wrong people in the first place with most these laws, And not the violent criminals.

That article states "This case is going to end badly for gun violence prevention advocates."

No, they are NOT "gun violence prevention advocates" they are are "gun control advocates".  If these "advocates" were honest about eliminating gun violence, they would address what causes a person to commit gun violence.  

These "advocates" are gun haters who are unwilling or unable to accept the root causes of gun violence.

Besides the fact they only concern themselves with violence that involved a firearm.  They don't give two sheets about all of the other violence that is happening in society today, much of which involves a multitude of weaponry other than firearms.  In some cases of violence, like attacks on conservatives, they even support it.  So they cannot be considered against violence at all.  They are only against 2nd Amendment rights.
