More Knife Help

One of the old knives I have been cleaning up is a Case XX folder...It  has ivory colored grips  with S. V. Moffett Co. printed on one side......

I am not sure what the grips are made of....They may be plastic, but they are not as PERFECTLY symmetrical as I would expect plastic to be, and they also appear to have shrunk some since they were installed on the knife..

Is there an easy way to tell what they are made of..??...

Thanks, Al...According to that info the handle is made from white composition...It has a model # starting with  4......It has discolored some and and is somewhat yellowish with a darker stain on the flats, which made me think it might be bone...It looks NOTHING  like the bone grips pictured in the site, however...
