Gun Safe

I was looking at getting a Field and Stream Pro Series 28 Gun Safe.  Basically I've been seeing mixed reviews about it and was wondering if anyone here had one and what there thoughts were about it. Thanks

cant say much on the field and stream safes at dicks sporting goods they say its the same as the stackon but  costco has a sale on cannon safes and is a better deal at $569 we have 2 cannons and 2 winchesters and they are both great...

Well there was a person selling it for $300 by me so that's why I asked to see what people had to say about it. And I saw the Costco one in there catalogs also.

its not a bad safe for storage and $300 is not a bad price they were on sale for $549 in feb. at Dick's it doesn't hurt to say you have $250 cash in hand then it would be a good score  Vin..

Yeah that's what I was planning on doing.  I was just reading some reviews online like I said and people were giving it mixed reviews... Some were saying it's great some were saying it's bad and on and on.

Just go for it its a good deal,  if you keep thinkin about it , it will be gone! plus a safe will give you a little extra peace of mind knowing there more secure...

A fellow in Rochester had a safe taken from his home that had several guns . It was bolted down and the thieves still got it out of the home . I guess some of the guns were heir looms and worth quite a bit .

Even so , a gun safe is a good thing to have .

Are you comparing fire ratings on the safe to help in your choice? They can very alot from safe to safe
