WNYBuckHunter
I have an IR4 and love it. I just got done modding mine to use the external battery pack, so if you run across an IR4 that has broken battery tabs for cheap, I can explain how to fix that issue. Did you check chasingame.com or trailcampro.com for reviews?
Geno C
yeah ive checked tralcampro the other day, they did not have the review on a 2.0 IR. i believe they had the 4.0 the only thing i hate about most of these cams aside from reconyx and the tropgy cam is the refresh time. they all take so long to re arm... but it is what it is i guess
WNYBuckHunter
Yeah I agree on the rearm time. I am planning on getting another cam or two before too long. My fiance says I am getting one of the WGI 6mp mini cams, and I want to pick up something thats a little higher end like a Reconyx or Cuddeback. Geno C
reconyx is the best cam on the market. ill tell you, the bushnell trophy cam 8.0 is awesome! John got me using them now lol. they are great! and very fast recoverytime
G-Man
Well i have 2 i picked up cheap. the day photos are great not a fan of ir in general. though you will need to put it on an area where the deer will hang out for a while. they are in my opinion not a good trail cam. sensor is to slow. fine for feeding areas/scrapes but across a trail ill use my cuddiebacks. i did an experiment and put one on the same tree as a cuddieback. got 2-3x more pics from cuddieback. they are a great exerimental cam for trying in a place where you are afraid to put a real good cam. i use mine on a road crossing as the flash wont give it away and the deer tend to hold for a few seconds before crossing the road. i dont like that if a sd cards not in it it will not tranfer photos to it when inserted, must take camera out and plug directy into computer to view and erase photos. xtra card with me sometimes i forget to bring an extra card with me and i dont want to run back out right away to put one back in. but it does have a good internal memory for 80 pictures. Geno C
im gunna give it a try. i hope it takes decent pics. i know with these slower trigger speeds and delay in recovery i have a spot ill put it to increase the chance of pics where i know the deer have been congregating... so i will see how i make out
Geno C
Well i received my cam today. For a 2.0 mega pix it took surprisingly good photos. i paid 59.99 and it has a $10 mail in rebate so for under 50 bux i think this cam will actually do the trick... i mean its a $50 cam you cant expect much. hopefully i get pics of some monsters lol
