Although, those fabled 200# dressed does may give you a little more...;). i've found the biggest of mature doe here in the foothills of the adirondacks weigh about 160 lbs field dressed even with some agriculture around. people around here shot 200lb dressed doe all the time before they started checking them in to the QDM co-op check station. i seem to get 40% of field dressed weight with a well placed shot that doesn't waste anything. we have a ton of 120 lb middle aged to mature doe that get shot so what you said makes sense to me.
