landtracdeerhunter
Nice to see some poults in the pics. Looks like a good hatching there. I have only seen 3 all summer long and that is unusual. The farm and surrounding land flooded three times in May and I think the turkeys had a tough time hatching. The ones I did see seem to be very small , but ma ma was good size. growalot
We have lots and lots of poults...but we're on the side of a 2 mile long hill...that gives them plenty of good nesting areas

growalot
Looks like they are growing like mad...or older poults...like I said we have lots of them....Some times it pays to leave the weeds alone....there is a nasty to me.... ground hugging succulant that gets tiny star shaped wht flowersI don't know the name...just can't get rid of it...any ways it produces billions of tiny little seeds...I think thats what they are eating right now...the sorghum just started heading out
growalot
I thought I posted this some where but can't find it so sorry if repeat...but....Mr. B. came home Wed. night...it had been raining all day and said I just bust a flock of 10 Toms and Jakes sneaking out of your front garden crossing the road to the pasture....He said they turned back and ran for the woods toward the house...Yee Haa....This flock I haven't seen...but the sorghum across the street is ripening up nicely....I think they must have been eating the dropping Kiwis and Aronia berries in the garden...He said one Tom looked really big...but he never saw the beard as they ran away
