8/26 stand building

Building two new stands the weekend of 8/26 any quick plots I can put in damp, totally unprepared soil in Sullivan county?  Probably not.  Next year I will begin in the spring and be looking for more advice.

oats or wheat..will sprout and be eaten quickly.. the feed version of the seed is cheap.. less than 15$ for a 50 lbs bag will do 2 acres.... as long as it isnt under water it will grow.  anything is better than nothing..
